Do I Need An Advisor ?

At times, the financial media portrays advisors as overly expensive with little value added.

With the increased availability of information through the Internet, investment software, and the ability to access advice from investment sponsors, some believe that the advisor is not necessary.

The question that you must  answer is:

“Do I have the time and the expertise to filter the vast amount of information that is available and apply it to my individual situation?”

  • How much money will I need to retire?
  • What rate of return do I need in order to provide an annual income and offset the effects of inflation?
  • Your income needs must be adjusted for inflation to calculate your “Required Rate of Return”.

  • Is a tax efficient mutual fund better for me than deferring taxes.
